Trip to Southlands

Sarah and I went to Southlands this morning - Sarah to ride, and me to take photos of her and Scotty.

Having a digital camera, even one as problematic as the Pentax has been, is an amazing thing - for one thing, I don't have to be afraid of action shots any more.

Riding horses and dressage seems to be one of those things where perfection is both expected and impossible. Except that in the case of riding, not only are you expected to be perfect, but somehow you have to take responsibility for your horse as well.

I guess photography is similar, except that there's no equivalent to photoshop in dressage.
